I have gambled on millions of hands of chemin de fer. I started working my way into the casinos when I was 16. I have played online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. With all that said I have still lost a lot of money at chemin de fer. The casinos have made it very hard to defeat the game.

I still enjoy the game and bet on a frequent basis. Over the years I have played a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won't get loaded with this method or beat the casino, nonetheless you will experience an abundance of fun. This tactic is founded on the idea that 21 seems to be a match of runs. When you're hot your on fire, and when you are not you're NOT!

I gamble with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I lose I wager the table minimum on the next hand. If I don't win again I wager the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Once I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the bet back down to the original value.

I am very strict and do not back out. It gets extremely fun on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very fast. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had great runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Palms a couple of years ago with $750 after 20 minutes using this method! And a few days ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!

You must understand that you can give up a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be amazed at the streaks you witness betting this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a 5 dollar table.

Leave five dollar paid to you for a total wager of 10 dollar

Bet 10 dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the original 10 dollar bet

Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $20

Bet $20
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 20 dollar bet

Bet twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 40 dollar

Wager $40
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $40 bet

Wager $40
Leave $40 paid to you for a total wager of $80

Bet eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the original eighty dollar bet

Wager $80
Leave $80 paid to you for a total bet of $160

Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the original 160 dollar bet

If you left at this instance you would be up $315 !!

It is herculean to go on a streak this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can't alter and lower your wager or the final result will not be the same.
