I have wagered on countless of hands of chemin de fer. I began sneaking into the casinos when I was 16. I have wagered on online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. With all that said I have still lost an abundance of money at vingt-et-un. The gambling dens have made it nearly impossible to defeat the game.

I still like the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over the years I have played a type of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won't get flush with this method or beat the casino, nonetheless you will experience an abundance of fun. This method is based on the fact that blackjack appears to be a game of runs. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you're not you are NOT!

I wager with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Whenever I profit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the bet back down to the original bet.

I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets extremely thrilling on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had great streaks a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Flamingo a few years back with $750 after 30 minutes using this tactic! And a couple of days ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!

You have to understand that you can relinquish much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the runs you notice playing this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a five dollar table.

Bet five dollar
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the first $5 bet

Wager $5
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 10 dollar

Wager 10 dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the initial $10 wager

Wager $10
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 20 dollar

Bet twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the original twenty dollar wager

Wager 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $40

Bet $40
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the first $40 bet

Bet 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $80

Wager $80
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 80 dollar bet

Bet eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar

Wager 160 dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the original $160 bet

If you departed at this point you would be up $315 !!

It's herculean to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can't deviate and lower your wager or the end result will not be the same.
