I have gambled on countless of rounds of 21. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have wagered on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of bankroll at 21. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the casino.

I still like the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have gambled on a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won't get rich with this tactic or defeat the casino, however you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is based on the idea that 21 seems to be a match of runs. When you are hot your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!

I play basic strategy chemin de fer. When I don't win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I don't win again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. As soon as I hit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don't win I return the bet back down to the original bet.

I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets very exciting sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had great runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Wynn a number of years back with $750 after 30 mins using this tactic! And a few days ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!

You have to understand that you can say good-bye to a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be aghast at the streaks you witness betting this way. Here is a guide of what you would bet if you continue winning at a $5 table.

Take $80 paid to you, leave the initial 80 dollar wager

Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar

Bet 160 dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the original 160 dollar bet

If you left at this point you would be up 3 hundred and 15 dollars !!

It is herculean to go on a streak this long, but it can happen. And when it does you mustn't deviate and lower your bet or the final result won't be the same.
